Google Home is one of the most widely used devices in the world, but the tech giant hasn’t always been able to make it work with all devices that it supports.
This article will walk you through how to control a Google Home without an internet-connected device.
Here’s how to do it with an HDMI cable.
The instructions are in English and should work on almost any device.
You may need to install the Google Home software on your PC.
If you don’t have a PC, you can also download the app from Google Play.
If not, you’ll need to find the Google app on your phone or tablet, then install the app.
Open the Google home app.
In the bottom right corner, tap “Home.”
At the top, tap the plus sign (+) to add a control.
Tap “Add control.”
You’ll get an icon in the top right corner with the word “control” next to it.
Tap it to add the Google device.
Tap the name of the device in the “Add controls” list.
Tap OK to close the “controls” list and then open the Google service app.
Click “Home,” then select the device you want to control.
From the Google services menu, tap Control and then “Google Home.”
When you’re prompted to add control, you need to select the right device.
To find the correct device, tap it in the list of devices.
If the device isn’t on the list, you’re not controlling it.
From there, tap OK to confirm your selection.
You’ll see the list change to a list of controls and then you’ll see a “Controls” option appear in the lower right corner.
Select the control and then tap the + sign (+).
Select the “Google Assistant” button.
To start the Google Assistant, tap Start.
Tap Google Home and you’ll be taken to the Google controls page.
From here, you have the option to say “OK Google,” or “OK Siri.”
You can also choose to say, “OK Cortana,” “OK Alexa,” “Ask Siri,” or any other of the Google commands.
You can add as many commands as you want.
At the bottom, tap Google Home again and you can add more controls to control your Google Home.
In your Google home screen, tap More options.
To add more control, tap a button at the top of the screen.
At this point, you will see more options to add as much control as you like.
Tap any of the available controls.
At any time, you may switch between different control options.
The controls you add will be hidden.
To change the “settings” of your Google device, select the control that you want and then press the plus button.
At that point, the settings of your device will change and you will be able to change it.
The settings will not be saved.
Tap Done to close any new Google Home controls.
When you’ve finished using your Google devices controls, you should see the “Settings” menu appear in your home screen.
From this menu, you might see other options to access other Google services, including Google search, Google Maps, Google News, and Google Calendar.
To open these options, tap Settings.
Tap General settings.
To see more settings, tap About, or tap More.
To remove all Google Home control options, from the “Control” list, tap Remove.
This process can take a few minutes, so please be patient.
To uninstall the Google devices settings, from “Settings,” tap Remove and then remove all the settings from the Google homes control list.
